Both sell AI, but they point it at different problems. Tickeron offers a menu of AI tools: AI Robots that generate trade ideas on 5, 15 and 60-minute timeframes, pattern engines that report breakout and target prices with confidence levels, and trend forecasts for the next week or month, across stocks, ETFs, forex and crypto. Trade Ideas puts its AI to work on U.S. stocks during the session: Holly AI Signals sit on top of a real-time scanner, and OddsMaker lets you test any setup yourself.

The short answer

  • Pick Tickeron if you want AI forecasts across several asset classes, end-of-day or swing signals, or an AI robot to follow, and like paying per tool.
  • Pick Trade Ideas if you trade U.S. stocks and want an AI that works during the session, on top of a real-time scanner and a backtester you control.
  • Signals plus scans of your own. TI Premium is the plan for Holly AI Signals, delivered every trading day with a planned entry, stop and target, and it also unlocks OddsMaker for testing ideas of your own. The AI Assistant builds a scan from a sentence, or you can pick from 310 alerts and 249 filters yourself in a menu with no code. Custom filters written in the Formula Editor can go through OddsMaker too.
  • Starting out? Trade Ideas gives you the premium experience. There is no need to configure anything. Every plan's Channel Bar has themed channels ready the first time you log in. Ask the Holly AI Assistant, included in all TI Pro plans, and pick up skills in the free Trading Room as you go. See Trade Ideas for beginners.
  • Either way, judge any AI by testing it, not by its marketing. That is what OddsMaker is for.
  • Trade Ideas publishes this page and makes one of the two tools.

How each company describes its AI

Tickeron: a toolbox of AI products

Tickeron calls itself a marketplace of AI-driven trading tools. On its own pages, checked Oct 5, 2026, the main pieces are:

  • AI Robots and AI Trading Agents. Machine-learning systems that "generate several trade ideas per day," powered by Tickeron's Financial Learning Models (FLMs) on 5, 15 and 60-minute timeframes. They come as signal-only robots, virtual agents and brokerage agents, in single-ticker, double-ticker and multi-ticker versions.
  • Real-Time Patterns. Scans thousands of stocks and ETFs every minute for chart patterns on 5-minute to daily timeframes, and reports breakout prices, target prices and confidence levels.
  • Pattern Search Engine. End-of-day pattern search across 39 pattern types for stocks, penny stocks, ETFs and forex.
  • Trend Prediction Engine. An AI opinion on whether a stock or ETF is bullish, bearish or sideways over the next week or month.
  • AI Screener and Daily Buy/Sell Signals. A technical and fundamental screener, plus end-of-day trade ideas aimed at swing traders.

Trade Ideas: one AI, wired into a live scanner

Holly is the Trade Ideas artificial intelligence. It doesn't sit apart from the scanner. It works on the same real-time data as Streaming Alerts and the Top List, and it chooses its strategies by running OddsMaker-style tests every night, keeping only the ones that pass for the next session.

Holly

What Holly does during the session

Holly AI Signals fire during the trading day with a symbol, an entry, stop and target. Holly is designed to look for stocks with large long-term potential. Many signals won't work out. You choose whether to exit the same day or hold, based on your risk.

That makes Holly a different kind of product from a forecast. Tickeron's Trend Prediction Engine gives an outlook for the next week or month, and its pattern engines give a target price with a confidence level. Holly gives you a trade to consider now, with a defined risk point, and leaves the holding decision to you. Neither is only for one kind of trader: Tickeron serves swing traders and day traders with different tools, and Holly's signals arrive intraday but don't force a same-day exit. See Holly AI Signals.

Outside Holly, Streaming Alerts report technical events on intraday bars as they happen rather than forecasting them: a 15-minute doji, a 5-minute bearish engulfing, a 15-minute upward thrust, and opening range breakouts and breakdowns at 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 30 and 60 minutes such as the 5-minute breakout. They come from 310 alerts and 249 filters documented in our help. You can join any alert to any filters with a min and max on each, and 191 alerts have their own setting, such as a minimum pattern grade from 0 to 100 on many candle alerts, so the combinations are effectively unlimited.

Check it yourself

Confidence levels vs testing it yourself

Tickeron publishes confidence levels, win rates and other statistics for its patterns and robots, and its own pages explain that simulated results come from backtested models "designed with the benefit of hindsight" and differ from actual account performance. That is a fair, standard disclosure. We are not going to rate Tickeron's accuracy here, and you shouldn't take any AI vendor's numbers, ours included, on faith.

That is why OddsMaker matters in an AI comparison. Instead of reading a published statistic, you choose the alert and filters, set your own entry, stop and exit rules, and replay them across all stocks over past trading days. You see the trades it would have produced, the win rate and the profit factor. It is the same kind of testing Holly runs every night, opened up so you can test your own ideas. Custom filters written in the Formula Editor can be tested the same way.

Real time

Every minute, end of day, or as it happens

Tickeron's Real-Time Patterns scan every minute, and its Pattern Search Engine and Daily Buy/Sell Signals work from end-of-day data, which suits swing trading. Trade Ideas Streaming Alerts run on Trade Ideas live market data and report each event when it happens. If you are okay with static non-refreshing data, Trade Ideas is probably not your best choice. If you mostly act on end-of-day signals, Tickeron's daily tools may fit your routine better.

Trade Ideas also monitors unusual options activity across all stocks and gives it a dedicated channel, available in TI Pro and on the Web Dashboard. Tickeron's product pages don't list an unusual options activity tool, so if options volume is part of your process, see the options volume filter.

Honest take

Who Tickeron is better for

  • Multi-asset traders. Forex, crypto and ETFs sit alongside stocks. Trade Ideas focuses on U.S. stocks.
  • Swing traders who want end-of-day pattern signals and next-week or next-month trend outlooks.
  • Traders who want to follow or copy an AI, including robots that can trade a brokerage account for them.
  • Pay-per-tool buyers. Single tools start around $20 to $30 a month after a free trial.
  • Phone-first users, with iOS and Android apps.
Pricing

Trade Ideas: two plans. TI Standard is listed at $127 monthly, or $1,068 when paid annually (about $89/mo). TI Premium is listed at $254 monthly, or $2,136 paid annually (about $178/mo), and is the plan with Holly AI Signals, OddsMaker backtesting and Auto Trading (Money Machine).
